No matter how large or small your planned catered event, The Kitchen’s catering menu is designed to please. Choose from party fare to main dishes, salads, desserts and beverages. We strive to use seasonal, mostly organic, locally sourced ingredients.
Prices are for food only, presented on your serving pieces. An 18% gratuity and 8.6% Washington State sales tax are added to the final total.Party Fare
Each item listed will generously serve up to 10 people. Platters and serving utensils are available for rent; please see our catering information page.

Antipasto Platter – $150.00 – A selection of seasonal raw, roasted, pickled and marinated vegetables, assorted olives, rice crackers and baguettes, with a spread of your choice:
- Beet with orange zest and roasted garlic
- Mushroom mince with garlic, cilantro, and sesame oil
- Hummus – garbanzo beans, tahini, lemon, garlic
- Carrot with caramelized onion and toasted cumin seeds
- Artichoke with capers and lemon
Meat Board – $195.00 – Calabrese sausage, Genoa salami, oven roasted chicken, sliced ham, Spanish chorizo and paté with crackers, sliced bread, stone ground mustard, pickled onion and roasted garlic. Substitutions will be made depending on availability.
Fruit Board – $98.00 – Seasonal fruit such as watermelon, blueberries, strawberries, figs, citrus and grapes.
Cheese Board – $110.00 – A selection of the following cheeses with stone ground mustard, sweet jam, rice crackers and baguette:
- Sharp cheddar from grass-fed cow’s milk
- Rogue River Oregon gorgonzola-style bleu cheese, or similar
- Morbier – semi-hard French buttery cheese, or similar
- Fresh local chevre (goat cheese)
- Brie

Spreads can be purchased separately – $45.00 each for a scant quart with rice crackers and baguettes. Can request crostini for an additional $10.00.
Dungeness Crab Cakes – $165.00 for 30 cakes – Fresh crab seasoned with a blend of Southeast Asian aromatic herbs and spices served with citrus-garlic sauce.
Salmon Cakes – $127.50 for 30 cakes – Made with fresh locally caught salmon. Seasoned and served as above.
Fresh Salmon Paté – $58.00 for a scant quart – Our fresh local salmon combined with minced cucumber, green onion, preserved lemon and house-made mayonnaise.
Paneer – $46.00 for 30 chunks – House made East Indian-style fresh cheese seasoned with herbs and spices, cubed and pan-fried. Served on a bed of curried greens.
Filo Triangles – $90.00 for 20 – Layered with curried vegetables and farmer’s cheese, folded into triangles. Served with a cucumber-yogurt sauce.

Szechuan Pork(spicy)-filled mushrooms – $74.25 for 30 – Local pastured ground pork seasoned and stuffed into a crimini mushroom.
Nori Rolls – 40 pieces. Rolled with wasabi and sesame seeds inside; comes with ginger wasabi soy sauce. Choose from the following:
- Seared Ahi Tuna with cucumber and scallions – $75.00
- Local salmon salad with red bell pepper– $75.00
- Marinated fried tofu with mixed vegetables – $65.00
The Kitchen Vegetables – $101.75 – A dazzling combination of seasonal sautéed and blanched mixed vegetables from our local farmers. Garnished with fresh herbs and choice of sauce (serves 10).
Skewers – 30 skewers served with a choice of sauce (see listing under main dishes) priced as indicated:
- Wild prawns – $96.00
- Local pork meatballs – $80.00
- Local beef sirloin strips – $78.00
- Breast of free range chicken – $75.00
- Tofu and vegetable – $56.00
Sticky Rice Cakes – $78.00 for 30 – These delicious rice balls are stuffed with spiced yam, dipped in black sesame seeds and pan seared. Served with peanut-lime-miso sauce.
Mini Open Face Sandwiches – $80.00 for 20 pieces – Vietnamese-inspired smear of mushroom mince, seasoned green cabbage, pickled carrot, sliced hot pepper, cilantro and mayonnaise on a crostini.
Main Dishes
Build a main dish choosing from the following suggestions. Prices are per person and include your choice of starch, seasonal vegetables and sauce. Our meats, seafood, and tofu are locally sourced. We season, bake or stir fry them using organic safflower oil.
- Locally caught salmon – $55.00
- Halibut filet – $61.75 (price fluctuates often)
- Wild prawns – $54.25
- Local beef sirloin – $50.25
- Breast of free-range chicken – $45.50
- Wildwood organic tofu – $27.50
- Organic tempeh – $45.50
Add one of the following:
- Steamed brown or white rice
- Heirloom wheat udon, wide rice noodles (location determines if rice noodles are available)
- Mixed roasted Chieftain red and Yukon Gold potatoes and garnet yams
- Dirty rice – mixed white and brown rice, sautéed onions, celery and mushrooms with herbs, add $1.50 per person.
Includes best of season vegetables. Add sauce:

Salads
Prices are per person.
The Kitchen Salad – $6.75 – A salad of fresh, local, organic greens and vegetables. Tossed with sesame vinaigrette or creamy (non-dairy) lemon-garlic dressing.
Roasted Potato Salad – $6.00 – Mixed roasted potatoes, capers, preserved lemon, parsley, safflower oil, green onion.
Cabbage Slaw – $6.00 – Shredded caabbage and seasonal vegetables with sesame honey mustard dressing.
Vietnamese Style Pasta Salad – $6.50 – Cellophane bean threads, julienned carrots, cucumbers, radish, and red bell pepper, bean sprouts, cilantro and roasted peanuts.
Bread and butter – $3.50 per person – Warmed local baguette with whipped organic butter.

The Kitchen Desserts
Prices are per person.
Coconut-Rice Pudding – $5.50 – Creamy coconut milk, rice, coconut flakes and vanilla cooked to a creamy pudding, topped with toasted coconut and slivered candied ginger.
- Add seasonal fruit compote for a delicious parfait served in a clear plastic wine glass – $6.50
- Add a mini cookie – +$2.00
Chocolate Sheet Cake – $6.50 – Skagit Valley milled and grown flour. This cake does contain gluten. Can be dairy and egg free, please specify.
- Chocolate / chocolate
- Carrot / cream cheese
- Vanilla / butter cream.
Cupcakes – $7.50 per cupcake – Assorted flavors; decoration on top is seasonal:
- Chocolate on chocolate
- Vanilla raspberry with cream cheese or chocolate frosting
- Spiced cake with cream cheese frosting.
Fruit Crisp – $7.00 per person – The best of our fresh seasonal local organic fruit topped with whipped crème fraiche.
Mini Cookies – $15.00 per dozen – Bite-sized versions of our famous cookies: chocolate-ginger, Chinese-almond, sesame benne, or peanut butter with black sesame seed (gluten-free).

Local French-roast coffee with organic cream and sugar – $3.25
